Environments
At Possums' Corner we have 3 indoor playrooms (Joeys (0-2), Wombats (2-3.5) and Kookaburras (3-6) and 2 spacious outdoor areas securely enclosed and surrounded by native bushland.
Indoor Areas
Our rooms reflect a 'home like' environment that is inviting, stimulating and aesthetically pleasing. Resources are selected carefully to ensure that they are age appropriate, challenging and capture children's interests.
Outdoor Areas
The outdoor play environments are spacious, well maintained, safe and private. These environments encourage children to actively participate and explore their surroundings as it is rich with resources and surrounded by nature.
Staff arrange the indoor and outdoor environments with consideration given to light, colour, furniture, natural materials and sound in order to stimulate children’s imagination and learning. Children are encouraged to care for and take responsibility for their environment through thoughtful planning by staff.
